My not so favorite window is: a problem occurred: The connection to the server failed.

Visionary seminar, Sweden

Student-Study-Visit Denmark: Vordingborg/Copenhagen
It's totally crazy how fast time is running. So here we are: Student-study-visit in Denmark.
Yesterday I and the german students came here to Vordingborg. The trip was good and pleasant but we had some troubles with the connections, anyway.
We were late and the danish students Helle, Trine and Britt picked us up at the station. That was really nice and a pretty warm welcome!
Rushed to the session at the college, the danish Team did a introduction session, were the technical informations were forward. But that was a pretty rough start: being late, feeing sorry, feeling hurry related to the missing time for lunch, fast entered the running session. I didn't like it, but at least everything worked out.
After the sessions there was a possiblity to visit a technical gymnasium. With almost no idea, we went over to the gymnasium. They had a open day, which turned out, was really great. Jockum and I got somehow lost and Björn Munkberg, Teacher at the Gymnasium, picked us at the Hall. He took us to one of the classrooms in the Building. There were no tables in, just rolling chairs and a lot space. Björn give us an insight of the didactical and peadagogical concept of the school. It turned out that they switched over to almost paperless schooling. All students get a tablett PC, there's a airplay in the classroom, so that everybody share their screen. The environment is highly digitalised, no real cupboard. The main idea is problem solving in project based teaching - reality based learning. The students work on projects for a certain time, 2 month or so, and then the come up with solution. I really like that approach of teaching, not the digital idea, but the problem solving based teaching and learning. Students can develop their competencies in a smart and creative way. They are not sticked to one right way. Many options can be explored and developed. At least for the students in the age of 16-19 like in that gymnasium. The chance and the "force"to develop yourself is really important in todays society. For the german system and common way of teaching in germany this would be a very innovative way of schooling. I would appreciate when more teacher could teach in a way like that in Germany.
The first day was finished with a dinner prepared by ourselfs. The danish students guided the cooking and the students prepared a traditional danish dinner usually served at christmas. I liked it a lot. Cooking together is such a social thing. Thanks to the danish teacher students.
